Go buy with confidence
There's no competition of v3. I compared this with my friend's rc 200 and also during drag race the result outcome was v3. King of all bikes under segment 2 lacs.- Report

It's a Supersport and nothing less.
Quality of the refinements and plastics improved in BS-VI. It sounds a little deeper in BS-VI avatar which is good. The drop in power is not noticeable. I touched a top speed of 152kmph before breaking due to traffic. Little buzz is present as it has high compression ratio compared to V2. The vibrations are minimal and one will realize this as soon as one rides another bike at high speeds as vibrations in other bikes are lot more pronounced. Fuel Economy: I get an average of 43-46 Kmpl in city even If I ride in high RPMs. One can get 48-50 Kmpl if we ride gently. Breaking: Even though it has ABS, the bite is not that great. I changed the front brake pads with ceramic pads and it improved a lot especially at high speeds on highways. Riding Position: Its an out and out supersport and one has to learn how to ride supersports in order to ride it without pain even during short rides. The maximum I think one can ride it is 500 kms on smooth highways and 300 if the roads are bad and has speed-breakers. Haven't tried the air or gel seat till now. One has to change their position on the bike and foot pegs to rest the pressure points and also take short breaks every hundred kilometers and stretch yourselves. Pros:: Top speed and aerodynamics. Dedicated super-sport riding position. Delta-box frame. Refinement at high speeds. Fuel Economy. Heat management. Cons:: Stock braking isn't that strong. It can be improved with ceramic pads both front and back. Stock headlights don't have right amount of throw to ride in the dark. Auxiliary lights may help but additional overhead with wiring and mounts. No LED indicators. No space for luggage, can only use a tank bag and tail bag. Pillion comfort.-

Best package
A Bike to commute and cruise @95kmph comfortably .It gives an milage of 43kmpl at that speed . My opinion is this is the best bike for commuting in city and for those who prefer weekend ride of distance covering 400km per day would be great . Small upgrade like handlebar can bring in great comfort for long roads.-

Poor Battery
The bike have no doubt a great look, however the quality of the battery is worst, which is no longer support if your bike is not running for 24 hour only. Lot of excuses instead of providing a better one. And have to wait for 4days for get a replacement which will be approved and then could be confirmed, so they even not corticious to provide alternate. So u could not use your bike as u have no option. Worst experience..-

Sporty-Agile-powerful
Riding position is aggressive, and if you don’t know how to ride such bikes, you will be end up complaining about palm and back pains, I have taken this machine on 300 KM rides also, it wasn’t that bad, I mean that was okay, one can handle it. Engine is super refined, best you can get in 150CC segment, and above 7500 RPM when VVA kicks in, this machine goes brutal, engine just roars. I have driven this machine for around 11000 KMs in total, even after driving it aggressively and shifting gears at red line, it gave me 37-40 KMPL, even after such aggressive driving, otherwise it can give around 45-48 KMPL. It’s easy to handle, and it is indeed a powerful machine. Slipper clutch is just amazing, it’s too easy to do revv matching with this machine while down shifting, which I found tough with V2 and any other sports bike in this range. Things could be better ? - yes, first is Tyre, MRF zapper is not good enough, you don’t get enough confidence in rain or at higher speeds or while cornering due to loose Tyre. - I heard build quality is poor, but so far I haven’t faced such issues, it’s been a year and 11000KM! Things are just fine! - another point is, it’s weight, it’s light weighted, so it’s agile, easy to control but at the same time that creates trouble at high speed, due to less weight, again you don’t feel much confident!-

POOR QUALITY OF MATERIAL USED BY YAMAHA
I HAVE PURCHASE R15 V3 2 MONTHS BACK AND DRIVEN IT FOR LESS THEN 300 km. DUE TO RAINY SEASON AND HEAVY RAIN IN PUNE BUT I WANT TO TELL YOU THAT DON'T PURCHASE THIS BIKE IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR RIDES MORE THEN 15 KM YOUR THIGS AND HAND WILL START PAINING AND MOST IMPORTANT THING THE QUALITY OF MATERIAL USED BY YAMAHA MOTORS FOR THIS BIKE IS VERY POOR MY BIKE COVER ABOVE FUEL TANK IS COMING OUT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND I HAVE TO PRESS IT TO FIT IT AGAIN IN TO IT THE METAL SHEETS ABOVE THE FUEL TANK HAVING CUTS AND IS FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSE IS VERY THIN THAT IT YOU TOUCH IT OR PRESS IT BY YOUR LAST FINGER YOU CAN FEEL THE BENDING IF YOU PRESS IT BY YOUR HAND DEFINITELY IT WILL BEND PERMANENTLY I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY DECISION AND WITH THIS BIKE QUALITY IS DEGRADED BY YAMAHA MOTORS NOW.-

not comfortable at all
I purchased this bike for good look, when I demanded a test drive before buying it from showroom, they denied it by saying they don't have any bike for test drive. When I purchased it and drive it from showroom to home, I understood the reason why they don't want anyone to test drive it. Your complete body weight will go on your palm and that is not possible for anyone to drive this bike with this much pain .-

No bike in 150cc segment will overtake R15 v3 in top speed
It's been around 11 months to be precise since i have bought this bike and have covered about 6000 kms which is quite less road distance in my opinion. I have a non-abs variant. But i can assure you r15 v3 won't disappoint you in performance and mileage whatsoever. The only con i'm gonna say is the discomfort which you'll soon get used to. Other than that it's a marvelous bike, something i've never had the experience of as it is a sport which gives you stupendous handling and control. The brakes are precise (some people may say they are not as powerful but trust me they are) they are soft at first when you pull the lever makes sense because when you're riding at 100+ kmph you don't want the brakes to lock the tyre. The looks are the key of this bike and feels like you're riding a 300-600cc. The mileage is amazing, i've been getting around 47-52 kmpl( i use speed petrol and fill nitrogen in the tyres). The slipper clutch is phenomenal when you're using it right, a big helper in traffic. And on a side note when you're speeding and cross the 7,400 rpm mark the vva kicks in and you'll feel the boost in power at that moment lean yourself on the tank to get to the top speed learning helps the bike to be fully aerodynamic. I personally touched 147kmph but didn't cross this mark just to be safe. For those people who experience fatigue due to aggressive riding position, my advice to you is to not put pressure on the arms but lighten your arms and stiffen your hips for minimizing the discomfort.-

Compact sports bike
Bike performs well in roads and extreme balancing and control only drawback is non abs brake where the rear wheel is locking in hard braking-

Beast in the segment.
First of all thank you for giving your time to read my review about the Yamaha R15 V3 . So first thing you look while buying a bike is its design and undoubtedly Yamaha R15 V3 have the best design in this price segment the aerodynamic look of the R15 V3 is not only eye catching if you are riding in the city but it also enhances bike stability and performance when it is above 100 kph but as everything is coming in such Budget friendly price for a sports bike so their is many cost cutting such as the plastic used in the build of the bike feels really cheap and their are issues such as the plastic near tank area tend to remove and you have to fix it I don't know if it is a manfacturing issue and the forks will bend if you drop the bike and you have to use a fork protection to keep it safe but overall to say that we can expect a picture perfect bike in this segment. Second thing is the performance and Oh Man! It's a beast and no bike under 155 cc and be compared with Yamaha R15 V3 and the plus point the VVA technology used in Yamaha R15 V3 it just pops up the performance when the bike is riding above 100 kph. On somedays the Yamaha R15 V3 can even compete with higher cc segment such as 180 and 200ccs. It gives an average of 40kmpl. Third thing is the Handling and it is very good in terms of Handling it at soft corners and there is no issue at tracks too it is a great fun to drive it at highways. Fourth Point is the Posture of riding and it is on a bit aggressive side as it is a sports bike and if you are not familiar how to ride a sports bike I recommend you to do a test drive before buying it and the pillion seat is also stiff so you can't have a pillion back. Fifth point is Instrument console the Yamaha R15 V3 instrument console is all digital it shows many valuable information such as speedometer, odometer, gear indicator, Neutral, Two trip meter and full meter and yeah another interesting feature is you can insert your name in the introduction option. So yeah it's pretty cool. Sixth point is the accessories which are a Daytona muffler or you can call exhaust which is actually pretty loud and to be used at tracks only as it will attract the attention of cops towards you if you're riding the bike in city. And other accessories are Michellin tyres, Tank pad , phone charger, Skid plate and frame slider. So in my point of view Yamaha R15 V3 comes in premium Segment if you consider bikes in 2 lakh segment and it is not a bike for long tours and you can buy it if you're commuting in city or riding bike at tracks. Thankyou so much for giving your precious time have a nice day and ride safely..????????-

not at all satisfied with the bike
the build quality of the body fiber is very poor, on some areas like on the fuel tank and near handle bars the colour is started to peal off on its own with in 1 year. engine of the bike is good but not smooth over all if u want a show piece like only for its look, some short ride and photoshoots then only buy this bike or else u will just waste the money on a Piece of plastic-
