The all-new Hyundai Tucson is coming to India, in the second half of 2022, most likely by July. The fourth generation of Hyundai's successful best-seller has sold more than 7 million units around the globe since 2004. Of these, 1.4 million units have been sold in Europe, while back home, in India, the Hyundai Tucson has been in the market since 2005, with the last update coming in 2020. The new Hyundai Tucson will get a completely new design language while sporting more features and creature comforts too.

The next-generation Hyundai Tucson sports a completely new design language, and the same will be introduced in India. The new Tucson is a huge departure from the previous generation and is now sharper than before. The front styling of the new Hyundai Tucson sports the new grille with integrated LED DRLs, and LED headlights are all-new and so is the bumper. We also see more angular body cladding, blacked-out pillars with a floating roof, as well a new LED taillight design with an LED light strip across the tailgate. The elements like new alloy wheels contrasting coloured roof rails, and chrome surrounds on the window complement the overall design.
The Hyundai Tucson also comes H-Track, Hyundai's all-wheel-drive or AWD, which is efficient and easy

Inside, the new Hyundai Tucson will carry over the same layout and features as the global spec model, including a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluelink connected car tech, as well as touch controls for the climate control system, ambient lighting, e-parking brake, and a switch for gear changes instead of a conventional gear lever. The cabin will get the all-black upholstery as the global model with the possibility of Beige & Brown options as well.
The new Tucson is sportier than the previous-gen model, and its sharper dynamic makes up for those few shortcomings of the drivetrain.
At heart, the new Hyundai Tucson will retain the tried and tested 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol, and diesel engine options with transmission choices including a 6-speed manual and automatic, along with all-wheel-drive (AWD) in top-spec variants.
