    KTM AG is readying the next-generation of the RC series and we have seen several spy shots over the past few months revealing details about all the changes on the full-faired offerings. Now, a new set of spy shots have emerged online and provide a glimpse at the motorcycle in the camouflaged avatar. The KTM RC range of bikes though is getting closer to production and will sport a comprehensive design update, improved riding ergonomics, as well as improved cushioning for the seat. The model is also expected to pack more features along with a substantial price hike.

    Yamaha Motor has introduced the new XSR155 in Thailand. The new Yamaha XSR 155 is a retro-styled offering based on the YZF-R15 V3.0 and shares the same underpinnings as the latter. The design language though is completely new, bringing a retro touch to the Japanese bike maker's 155 cc line-up and is an extremely likeable addition to the range. Mechanically, the XSR155 carries over the Deltabox frame and other cycle parts and also the powertrain.

  • New KTM 390 Duke

    KTM seems to be hard at work, and one of the results of the updated future models will be the 2022 KTM 390 Duke, which was spotted on test in Europe recently. The most prominent change is the design of the 2022 model, which takes inspiration from the KTM 890 Duke and the flagship KTM 1290 Super Duke R. While the typical split headlight design is retained, the fuel tank extensions are sharper and the radiator shrouds are also new. On the left side of the fuel tank, there appears to be a small opening, possibly designed to direct hot air away from the engine, but it's absent on the right side. Why it's absent on the right side we're not sure, and more details will be available only when the bike is unveiled officially.

Taking the CBU route, the premium scooter will reportedly be one of the most expensive scooters in its league and is expected to be priced at Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom, price). Powered by the 278cc, single cylinder engine, GTS 300.

    The CF Moto 400 NK will be based on the 650 NK, and will sport almost near identical design, with a full-LED headlight, muscular naked street bike stance, with sharp lines and a chiseled fuel tank. The tail section is sleek and upswept, and the split seat set-up with the flat and wide handlebar accentuates its aggressive streetfighter design lines. The 400 NK essentially will be a more accessible and affordable version of the CF Moto 650 NK.

    The CF Moto 400 GT will be the sports touring  model of the 400 cc platform models from CF Moto. The 400 GT’s styling will be derived from the CF Moto 650 GT. It will come with a wide fairing housing a twin LED headlamp set-up with a strip of LED lights. Fairing mounted rear view mirrors, full-colour instrument console, and a flat, wide handlebar with an upright riding position will offer a comfortable riding position.

  • Benelli Leoncino 800

    The new Benelli Leoncino 800 is offered in two versions. The standard version remains road biased and comes with the traditionally-shaped yet muscular fuel tank, sculpted lines, and throwback tail section. The Leoncino branding on the side panels bring a contemporary appeal to the motorcycle, while the round LED headlamp with the U-shaped LED daytime running light is also a mix of old and new. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels at the front and rear with a 120-section tyre upfront and a 180 section unit at the rear.

    Husqvarna has finally unveiled the production model of the new Husqvarna Norden 901 adventure tourer, almost two years after it was unveiled in concept form for the first time at the EICMA. The 2022 Husqvarna Norden 901 is based on the KTM 890 Adventure platform, but has enough of its own unique design and styling to give it its own, unique appearance. The Norden 901 has its unique and futuristic bodywork, as well as new LED headlight to differentiate it from the sister brand KTM's machines it's based on. Designed for long-distance explorations, the Norden 901 sits somewhere between the base KTM 890 Adventure and the top-spec KTM 890 Adventure R.

    The 2021 Benelli 302R is expected to be launched in India later this year, and comes with a completely new design and updated engine to meet the latest emission regulations. The bike sports a vertically stacked projector headlamp flanked by LED turn indicators, and even the tail section has been changed with a LED taillight and air vents under the pillion seat.

    Harley-Davidson will launch the Bronx motorcycle in India by late 2021 or early 2022. It was unveiled at the EICMA 2019 Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The Bronx will be the first Harley-Davidson to get the 975 cc version of H-D's new Revolution Max engine, a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 60-degree v-twin. The engine will put out a claimed maximum output of 115 bhp and in excess of 95 Nm of peak torque. The Bronx uses the engine as a stressed member of the frame, which is a lightweight unit, and the engine is said to sport a counter-balancer to keep vibrations in check on the 60-degree v-twin, which will be called the Revolution Max 975. Detailed specifications have still not been revealed yet. Expect some changes, both cosmetic and technical to the final production model when it's launched by the end of 2021.

  • Evolet Hawk

    The Hawk has an attractive and sporty design, and looks sharp, in the flesh with its sculpted front fairing, and projector headlamp. It will get clip-on handlebars, and a full-digital instrument console, along with telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking is handled by twin discs on the front wheel, and a single disc brake set-up on the rear wheel. The wheels are 17-inch at both ends, and will be shod with tubeless rubber.

  • Bajaj Pulsar RS400

    Unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo, Bajaj's power cruiser, Pulsar RS400 sports the similar contour as its younger sibling, Pulsar 200NS, but the former has a bigger stance. The prototype revealed at the Auto Expo back in 2014 had an assertive front profile featuring dual head lamp.

  • Emflux Motors One

    The Emflux One is India’s first electric superbike, which will be launched by Bengaluru-based tech start-up Emflux Motors. The Emflux One was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018, and the production version of the Emflux Model One is likely to be launched by the end of 2019. The Emflux One looks like an internal combustion engine middleweight supersport, but is in fact, powered by electricity. The Emflux One has a claimed acceleration of 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds, and boasts of a top speed of 200 kmph.

  • Piaggio Vespa Elettrica

    The Vespa Elettrica has a brushless DC motor with 4kW peak power (around 5.4 bhp) and develops 200 Nm of peak torque. The battery is a 4.2 kWh lithium ion unit, with a claimed range of 100 km in Eco mode, and 70 km range in Power mode. The Elettrica's maximum speed is rated at 70 kmph in Power mode, and 45 kmph in Eco mode. The Vespa Elettrica offers a long list of features, including Bluetooth connectivity with the Vespa Connectivity mobile app, and a full digital instrument cluster with TFT display. The speedometer also offers call and message display.

  • Suzuki Katana

    Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) revived the iconic Katana name by unveiling it in India at the 2020 Auto Expo. The motorcycle gets classic design, which is complemented by modern styling elements as well as technology. Suzuki Katan name has been taken from Suzuki’s past, wherein it was a popular sport-touring machine with the same nameplate. Based on the Suzuki GSX-S1000F, the 2020 Suzuki Katana comes powered by a 999 cc, in-line four-cylinder engine.

  • CFMoto 300SR

    Power on the CFMoto 300SR comes from the 292 cc single-cylinder engine that develops 29 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 25.3 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The 250SR gets a 249.2 cc motor which 27.8 bhp at 9,750 rpm and 22 Nm peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The motors are paired with a 6-speed gearbox and there's a slipper clutch on offto. Both motorcycles also weigh exactly the same at 165 kg (kerb weight) and the power and torque outputs are not very different either. Both motorcycles also get features such as riding modes, TFT screen. CFMoto is yet to announce the bikes for India but if launched, the bikes will be be competing against the Suzuki Gixxer SF250, KTM RC range and the TVS Apache RR 310.

  • Indian Challenger

    The Indian Challenger is the newest heavyweight cruiser from Indian Motorcycle and is expected to be introduced in India as a completely built unit (CBU). The Indian Challenger is based on Indian Motorcycle’s newest PowerPlus engine, a liquid-cooled, 1,769 cc, 60-degree v-twin which puts out 121 bhp of maximum power at 5,500 rpm and 173.5 Nm of peak torque at 3,800 rpm. In the US, the Challenger is available in a choice of three variants – Standard, Dark Horse and Limited. The Dark Horse and Limited Variants, apart from being visually and cosmetically different, will also come with a Bosch six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) which powers the cornering traction control system and ABS.

  • Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

    Royal Enfield seems to be getting ready to launch the third model in the 650 Twins range, one of the new motorcycles that are to be launched this year. A latest video has emerged which shows what looks like an almost production-ready model of the Super Meteor 650 undergoing test runs on a highway. At the tail section we can see a round taillight, while the footpegs are forward-set, like a typical cruiser's, and should offer a comfortable riding position. The bike also gets twin exhausts, but with fatter end sections than the current Continental GT 650 or the Interceptor 650.

  • KTM 890 Duke

    KTM took the wraps off the 890 Duke, the model that replaces the 790 Duke globally, after it was discontinued with the coming of Euro V and Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) emission norms. The 890 Duke sits below 890 Duke R, which is the more powerful variant of the two and was introduced early last year. In terms of design and styling, the 890 Duke is similar to the 790, but gets new colours and graphics. The motorcycle continues to get the LC8 parallel-twin engine which now displaces 889 cc instead of 789 cc and makes 113 bhp along with 92 Nm, which is 10 bhp and 5 Nm more than what the KTM 790 Duke produced.

    The Harley-Davidson LiveWire is the first electric cruiser from the American motorcycle manufacturer. The Harley-Davidson LiveWire is powered by an all-new electric powertrain which Harley-Davidson calls the “Revelation”. It uses what is called an internal permanent magnet synchronous motor which has a power output of 78 kW or 104.6 bhp and with a peak torque output of 116 Nm. The LiveWire has a claimed acceleration time from 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds, and is claimed to reach 128 kmph from 100 kmph in less than two seconds. Top speed is rated at 177 kmph.

  • Ultraviolette F77

    The Ultraviolette F77 is India’s first performance-oriented electric motorcycle, with a claimed top speed of 147 kmph, and 0 to 100 kmph claimed acceleration in 7.5 seconds. The F77 will be available in three variants – Lightning, Shadow and Laser. It is powered by an air-cooled, brushless DC (BLDC) motor with an output of 25 kW (33.5 bhp) with a massive 450 Nm of torque on the rear wheel. The F 77 will get three riding modes – Eco, Sport and Insane, and will priced from around Rs. 3 lakh. The electric power comes from three slim and modular lithium-ion battery packs which offer a claimed range of 130-140 km on a full charge. The battery packs can be charged fully from a standard charger in 5 hours, and a portable fast charger will allow a 0 to 80 per cent charge in just 50 minutes, with a full charge from the fast charger possible in just 90 minutes.

  • EeVe Tesero

    The Forseti electric scooter has a claimed top speed of between 60-70 kmph, while the Tesero electric motorcycle has a top speed of 90-100 kmph. The two electric two-wheelers will be priced under Rs 1 lakh, and full specifications will be revealed at the time of launch. Both two-wheelers come with a 5-year warranty on the products, including a 3-year unlimited warranty on the battery.

    The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 has been updated for 2020 and is offered in two variants globally, the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT. The flagship adventure touring bike from Suzuki gets revised styling, updated electronics and an Euro 5 compliant engine. The updated 1,037 cc, v-twin engine puts out more power now, with peak power of 105 bhp, and it also comes equipped with a new electronics suite, called the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS). The new electronics package includes an updated ride-by-wire system, as well as Motion Track Brake System, which prevents mid-corner braking kick back and assistance on slopes.

  • Yamaha MT-03

    Yamaha has unveiled the 2021 Yamaha MT-03, and has confirmed that the 321 cc naked version of the 2020 Yamaha YZF-R3 will be launched in Europe. In India, Yamaha offers the Yamaha YZF-R3, but only offers the Yamaha MT-09 and the 150 cc Yamaha MT-15. Both the Yamaha MT-07 and the Yamaha MT-03 have so far not been offered on sale in India. But that may change next year, if Yamaha decides to introduce the 321 cc, streetfighter, possibly as a 2021 model, to position it in the rapidly growing 250-400 cc motorcycle segment.

  • Husqvarna Svartpilen 125

    The new 125 cc, entry-level Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has been introduced as an entry-level model from the Swedish motorcycle brand. Like the rest of the Svartpilen and Vitpilen line-up, the Svartpilen 125 also shares a lot with the KTM 125 Duke. That's because KTM owns the Husqvarna brand, and like other small-displacement KTMs and Huskies, the Svartpilen 125 will also be made in India, at Bajaj Auto's manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. Bajaj owns 48 per cent stake in KTM. For now, the Svartpilen 125 is expected to be introduced in Europe, but considering the KTM 125 Duke's success in India, the Svartpilen 125 is also quite likely to be introduced in India.

  • Kawasaki Z400

    The Kawasaki Z400 is one of the smallest parallel-twin naked motorcycles that the Japanese manufacturer has to offer and was revealed at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in 2018. The Kawasaki Z400 is the stripped version of the Ninja 400 and omits a number of components including the full fairing, clip-on handlebars and the aggressive riding position. Instead, the Z400 offers minimal body panels making it lighter than its faired sibling while offering identical power figures. Globally, the new Z400 replaces the Z300 in Kawasaki's line-up.

    KTM-owned Swedish motorcycle brand Husqvarna is slated to enter India soon and will be bringing its motorcycle range to the country. While the launch still some time away, the manufacturer's much-awaited offerings Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 have been caught testing in the country. Both motorcycles were showcased as concepts at EICMA 2016, while the production version arrived a year later and have already been launched internationally.

    KTM India’s new and upcoming middleweight adventure bike is the KTM 790 Adventure. It was showcased at the India Bike Week 2019 in Goa. The 790 Adventure though has just been showcased, and not officially launched in India. According to KTM India, the middleweight adventure bike has been showcased to gauge people's reaction, although it's no secret that the 790 Adventure will be launched sometime in mid- or the second half of 2021. The KTM 790 Adventure is based on the KTM 790 Duke and is likely to be the second big, parallel-twin engine KTM to be launched in India.

  • Benelli 752S

    The Benelli 752S is a brawny, naked, middleweight motorcycle from Chinese-owned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Benelli. The Benelli 752S was shown as a concept at 2017 EICMA Motorcycle Show, and overall the design seems to be quite similar to the concept. At 227 kg kerb weight, the 752S is no lightweight though, with the 14-litre fuel tank fully filled up. As the name suggests, it is a 750 cc middleweight.

  • Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR

It shares the same 1160 cc triple engine but comes with sportier ergonomics, higher-spec suspension, offering sportier performance ideal for track riding.   • UM Motorcycles Chill 150

    American two-wheeler manufacturer UM Motorcycles is largely known for its cruiser bikes in India, but the company could foray into the scooter segment with the Chill 150 ABS. The UM Chill 150 is expected to be the brand’s first offering in this segment and will take on Piaggio's Vespa line-up as a retro-themed 150 cc scooter. The upcoming UM Chill is expected to offer a modern-classic design theme with the round headlamp, curved body panels, alloy wheels, and chrome inserts across the exterior. The scooter will have a displacement of 150 cc and is expected to get a rear disc brake as part of the standard kit, making it the first scooter in India to offer the same. It will also get ABS to meet the now mandatory safety regulations. The UM Chill 150 will be locally manufactured, and prices are expected to be competitive in the vicinity of Rs. 70,000-80,000 (ex-showroom), which will position the scooter below the Vespa range. The scooter is expected to go on sale by the end of this year or sometime in 2020.

    Hero Electric, India's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced an all-new electric two-wheeler called the Hero Eddy. According to Hero Electric, the upcoming Hero Eddy will be priced at Rs 72,000 (Ex-showroom) and will come in two colours, Yellow and Light Blue. The Hero Eddy electric two-wheeler will not require any license or registration, the company said, indicating that the Hero Eddy will be a low-speed electric scooter with maximum speed limited to 25 kmph. The company says the Hero Eddy has been designed for short distance commutes.

    The two electric two-wheelers come equipped with hub-mounted motors from Bosch and feature swappable batteries, with two packs each. Both electric two-wheelers have a charging time of 3-4 hours with a fast charger. While the Forseti electric scooter has a claimed range of 100 km, the Tesero electric motorcycle is said to have a claimed range of 120 km on a single charge.

    Suzuki Motorcycles has revealed the 2020 SV650 for global markets. The naked middleweight motorcycle will go on sale in Japan first and then launched in other markets. The motorcycle gets new colour schemes for 2020, which are Mystic Silver Metallic, Matte Black Metallic and a Glass Sparkle Black. The frame of the motorcycle is done in different colour than the base colour, for the first two colour schemes. The Glass Sparkle Black is basically an all-black colour scheme, with blacked out parts and even a blacked out frame.
