The UM Chill 150 is expected to be the brand’s first offering in this segment and will take on Piaggio's Vespa line-up as a retro-themed 150 cc scooter. The upcoming UM Chill is expected to offer a modern-classic design theme with the round headlamp, curved body panels, alloy wheels, and chrome inserts across the exterior. The scooter will have a displacement of 150 cc and is expected to get a rear disc brake as part of the standard kit, making it the first scooter in India to offer the same. It will also get ABS to meet the now mandatory safety regulations. The UM Chill 150 will be locally manufactured, and prices are expected to be competitive in the vicinity of Rs. 70,000-80,000 (ex-showroom), which will position the scooter below the Vespa range. The scooter is expected to go on sale by the end of this year or sometime in 2020.
