About Royal Enfield Classic 350

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is arguably one of the most popular cruiser bikes in the Indian market.  Yet, it is fascinating how Royal Enfield has still managed to keep the bike relevant even today. You can easily guess this cruiser bike’s popularity by the fact that it has been one of the most searched bikes, especially with the arrival of the new BS6 model of the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

What’s even more surprising is that the new Classic 350 runs faster even though it generates less power and is nearly 4 kg heavier—all while abiding by the  BS-VI compliance rules. Let’s try and understand the situation clearly.

For starters, the 346cc engine now generates a peak power of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm complemented with a maximum torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The cruiser bike runs best at 70 kmph to 75 kmph and is fuel-efficient. Other significant upgrades include a fuel-injected engine, dual-channel, anti-lock braking system and alloy wheels that enable tubeless tyres, which are more practical and a safer alternative.

One of the most significant boosts which Classic 350 has received is the robust braking system, which is more or less inspired by the Enfield Interceptor.

Without any equipment and add-ons, the bike weighs 195 kilograms, which is still more than its predecessor. But with all the essential add-ons included, the cruiser bike weighs nearly 4-5 kilograms heavier than the BS-IV model. However, the weight doesn’t hamper your riding experience but only adds to the dominating appearance of the Royal Enfield cruiser bike.

Royal Enfield has still sustained the old school charm and a post-war built design that truly justifies the name, “Classic”! This retro roadster has a stunning appearance and has much better suspension.

While some die-hard Bullet lovers might miss the iconic thumping sound in the new BS-VI model of Classic 350, Royal Enfield has compensated with the engine, which feels much more refined and smooth while riding.

At Rs. 1.84 lakh, the Classic 350 is one of the most desirable bikes which offers a holistic experience to its riders. Perhaps this is why this cruiser bike is still one of the biggest successes in the Indian market. Royal Enfield has managed to combine the retro, old school charm with its modern ergonomics and it’s the highlight of the new Classic 350, which ensures the cruiser lives up to its hype.

While a few additions could have enhanced the ride, the Classic 350 is still a good bike at this price range.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 competes in the cruiser bike range with Honda CB350RS, Jawa Perak, and Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. It also competes with its rivals, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.

first of all, the terms for purchasing the bike are not easy to understand. It's all about fake promises about date of delivery. first they will regularly ask you to deposit money as early as possible telling that they have got bike in stock, and as soon the finance is done the model goes out of stock. Even after disbursal of loan. depositing whole money they take next 4-6 days in delivering. The Online support is too much pathetic, Don't know, what will be the response from service staff.
This is for the ROYAL ENFIELD haters.

For all those people commenting Bad on Royal Enfield I'll give you a simple advice. Please sell your RE. Because this is a machine. It needs at most care. Nowadays youngsters purchasing this bike handle this to be a very normal bike and end up saying this shit. It is you who you has to take care off the engine and everything. If you are complaining on the bike then seriously you are unfit to ride a Royal Enfield. You ride it as an off road vehicle and not lubricating the chains and you're f****** complaining about the vehicle. The Royal Enfield is a classic masterpiece In the automobile industry. Handling The masterpiece like shit and dogs bark on it. I have got three bikes. Kawasaki z 650, Harley Davidson and a Royal Enfield . Simply Royal Enfield is the best.
Best cruiser bike for everyday use to long journeys.

Yes it is a bike that requires u to take care of it more than other bikes. It has the stability that is required for everyday city rides and not only that it has the comfort required for long distance trips. The engine feels to have heated if driving for long distances, but that problem is easily resolved if you change the engine oil they provide, i.e, Royal Gun 15W50. I have been using Motul 5100 15W50 engine oil for 3000 kms and it has decreased the heating problem of engine considerably, and not only that it has also lessened the engine vibrations making the ride smoother and more enjoyable. The other problem that most people say that royal enfield has low mileage is completely wrong... If u ride it like a cruiser and not like a racing bike than u are bound to get a mileage above 40. I am getting a mileage of 47 in city. I rode for 600 kms with some buddies on the hilly terrains of shillong without any problems, the twisty roads, the steep climbs all traversed on the mighty classic 350 without any problems. Use good quality petrol, lubes for ur bike. Select the best engine oil for ur bike and u r bound to love ur bike.. At the end for me Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the best bike for city rides as well as for long journeys. Ride Safe. Wear Helmet. Enjoy Ride.
