Hero Electric Eddy

Hero Electric, India's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced an all-new electric two-wheeler called the Hero Eddy. According to Hero Electric, the upcoming Hero Eddy will be priced at Rs 72,000 (Ex-showroom) and will come in two colours, Yellow and Light Blue. The Hero Eddy electric two-wheeler will not require any license or registration, the company said, indicating that the Hero Eddy will be a low-speed electric scooter with maximum speed limited to 25 kmph. The company says the Hero Eddy has been designed for short distance commutes.

Commenting on the upcoming electric two-wheeler, Naveen Munjal, MD, Hero Electric, said, "We at Hero are thrilled to announce our upcoming product Hero Eddy that will have an overwhelming on-road presence combining smart features and stylish looks. The scooter is designed keeping in mind individual's conscious efforts to contribute towards carbon-free future combined with a hassle-free ride experience. We are confident that Hero Eddy will make for a perfect alternate mobility choice offering comfort and necessity."

The Hero Eddy electric scooter is expected to be a low-speed electric scooter with maximum speed of 25 kmph and will not reajuire any driving licence or registration.

The Hero Eddy will boast of features like Find My Bike, E-Lock, Large Boot Space, Follow Me Headlamps and Reverse Mode. According to Hero Electric, the Hero Eddy will be convenient for short distance commutes, to next door coffee shops, golf courses and gymnasiums, etc.
