How is the design?

The latest model of Mahindra Bolero which launched in 2020 gets a revised grille along with a refreshed bonnet and headlamps which are still halogen units but it also gets a neat partition, integrating the beam light, hazard light and parking light. You will see that the front bumper of the new model is redesigned which incorporates a new air dam and fog lamps housing.
The Mahindra Bolero's rear has limited changes. They have refreshed tail lamps and door handles for the boot gate as well. Hence, the new model has been restyled in a very cool manner.

The newest model that Mahindra has manufactured under Bolero, comes with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine mHawk75 which pumps out 75 bhp at 3,600 rpm while the peak torque output is 210 Nm at 1,600-2,200 rpm. The new Bolero's modified engine has been modified and now it is paired to a 5-speed gearbox and has a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres. The car is really tough and drives quite smoothly even on rough and edgy roads.

How comfortable is Mahindra Bolero?

The new Mahindra Bolero is a 7 seater vehicle which makes it quite comfortable and spacious. The Mahindra Bolero definitely has a good ground clearance and it can definitely handle rough and edgy roads quite well. You won't feel the bends on the roads because the car is well balanced. The car being a big car provides good leg space and knee room without much problem. It can get a bit tiring when it comes to travelling long distance but overall the car provides sufficient comfort.

How's the interior?

The interior of the Mahindra Bolero comes with power steering and power windows as well. It of course has proper AC vents and heater systems as well for chilly weather. They have comfortable 7 seats which have enough space. The car even provides central locking and front map pockets and utility spaces. The newest edition has a keyless entry and remote fuel lid opener. The car even has a rear wash and wiper and of course, it comes with a 12 V charging point. Though the interior does vary from variant to variant but as the variant goes up, the features of the cars also go up and it becomes more advanced.

The Mahindra Bolero has a lovely engine immobilizer. The newest edition that has been launched in 2020 has a digital cluster. They even come with static bending headlamps and a nice music system. They have a micro-hybrid system that makes the engine start/stop easier and convenient. The car even provides a driver information system which is known by DIS. The car even comes with the DIS- AFE, DIS- Gear indicator. They even come with DIS- Distance to empty and it even comes with DIS- Distance to travel. Mahindra Bolero even provides DIS- Door Ajar Indicator and even DIS- Digital clock date and Time.

The storage provided by the Mahindra Bolero is really huge. The car is a 7-seater car and therefore it is spacious. The total boot space of the car is 460 litres which give sufficient legroom and knee room for the users.

How's the mileage?

The new Mahindra Bolero gives an okay mileage. As the car is an SUV, it is expected to give a better mileage but this car gives a mileage of only 16 km/l which is a bit of a drawback.

How is the performance?

The Mahindra Bolero comes with a diesel engine. The engine is 2.5- litre with a total displacement capacity of 2523 cc. The car even comes with four cylinders and 8-valves based on a SOHC valve configuration. The car comes with a 'DI' engine that has conventional direct-injection technology along with a turbocharger. The car even comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox which allows it to reach a top speed in the range of approximately 125-130 kmpl. The car's engine even enables it to accelerate towards the 100 kmph speed mark from a standstill of about 20-25 seconds.

How safe is Mahindra Bolero?

The new Mahindra Bolero comes with an anti-locking braking system which is recognized as ABS. The newest version even comes with a driver airbag. They even have reverse parking sensors and of course seat belt reminders. They even provide a co-driver occupant detection system.
