Mileage machine as well as fun to drive

    Aditya priyanshu
The diesel engine is performing well. It has strong performance as well as you can get mileage of 26-28 in while cruising in 70-90 speed range. The boot space is less but it doesnt affect the overall value of car as I use the boot very much rarely. The 2nd row is the best in segment. Safety is top notch. Performance is topnotch.

Xuv 300 Diesel variant has REGEN problem

    Wikar Ahmad Shah
I bought xuv 300 w8 diesel on 16th August 2021, and since then my car is showing REGEN after every 30-40 kms, despite 6 visits to the showroom they have failed to get it done, now the car started to lit check light, I am approaching consumer court now with my complaints, as MAHINDRA miserably failed.

XUV300 W6 petrol model I have faced Bake issue and Clutch issue(Dead) Chennai

    Ravisree
My money entirely wasted canceled Hyundai venue booking and took delivery of Mahindra Xuv 300 W6 petrol manual. One of the wrong decisions in my life. Living in Chennai brought the car at dec 2020. Within 2 months of purchase found the Whole-body vibrate while applying the brake at the speed of 70 to 100kmph car driven only 1200kms gave to service center poonamalle VST service somehow the service technicians poonamallee found to rectify it but cleared only 60% I can still find the whole body vibration. Recently we are heading towards Madurai after crossing Chengalpattu clutch function totally dead at the speed of 100 in NH4 my family got panic however I have parked the car called RSA got a free cab to reach Jain motors Chengalpattu and car have been picked from a pickup truck for free. Time consumption is more for the RSA service but it saves lot of money. However, for Mahindra products, we need to active RSA every time. Worst Quality check and Product from them. Finally found clutch pin has been came out and that’s why clutch oil has been leaked because of Air bubble in clutch oil so it has to come out for free function that’s the reason found at Chengalpattu Jain motors. However, the same Pin is fixed. With full conformation again started to ride with family again found free clutch play. I didn’t feel confident again we returned to home. Gave the vehicle at poonamalle for the permanent solution. If u need hassle-free and value for money don’t go for XUV 300 . Its a waste of money

    Electrical and engine problem

    Gopal Batni
Bought the car when it was launched. For the past year or two have been facing a weird problem where while driving suddenly i hear the alarm chime, the steering becomes hard, MID starts showing check engine light and hill assist lights, stearing check light, hand break warning. The gear shows neutral and speedometer gets stuck at maximum. This lasts for 30-40 second then comes back to normal. Then the engine warning sign flashes on the MID Shown at the authorised service centre and dealership. They have identified some part that needs to be replaced

This Vehicle OK but after sale service is worst

    Vineet
I purchased XUV 300 in Feb 2021 from Shiva Auto, Ghaziabad. After running 5200 kms clutch Assembly needs to be changed. I sent the vehicle for repair to Authorised service center, but now after 5 days service center informed that the part is not in their stock and they need 5-6 more days to get the vehicle repaired and delivered.. Guys pls don't buy Mahindra Cars , really I am feeling cheated .

    My Cheetah in Aquamarine.

Bought XUV300 W6 D sunroof variant. I feel it as a value for money. Good Spacious for our 4 adults and 2 kids. Boot space is sufficient since we use mostly soft bags with 1 Trally. Confidence in driving and safety on highways. Mileage: AFE in odometer shows 21 to 22 but real world Tank to tank we achieve 19kmpl. Customer support was conscious in calling but poor in taking Action. Just like Hyundai. Service&Spares-No information since I run just about 5000+kms. Lighting shall be improved a lot. Audio system was decent overall I have pleasure driving 1250kms at a stretch for a 16hrs journey with 3 intervals. Vehicle is for Driving enthusiasts.

XUV300 W6 petrol model have Brake issue. Whole body vibrate above 60kmph found

    MAHESHKANNA
From Chennai on 31/12/2020 brought XUV 300 W6 Petrol at ANNA salai in INDIA GARAGE. Very Worst Product from Mahindra especially XUV300 W6 petrol model .My phone number 9840594157 maheshkanna From chennai IF any doubt Contact me...I am regretting to the high that my 10.34lak get vained.. Xuv300 W6 petrol car driven only 700kms within that got Brake issue .. I found when I am crossing 60kmph and above.. At that speed if i am applying the brake in a normal way are sudden I and my co-passenger can notice a Whole-body vibration.. I complained the same to Poonamalle service station in CHENNAI...From the service station, the service technician is not well trained to diagnose the issue..They took 1 week and with that Lot of Test drive I refilled Petrol for 1500 rs from my wallet.. Me and my family not satisfied tell now..I believed Mahindra yes it's my first try for the brand.. Even though most of them didn't suggest to go with Mahindra... Previously I owned Maruti Alto k10 which is value for money.. Now will be First and Last for this Brand.. I am going to fight with my ability yes I am educated.. Should show how consumer power is.. I will

Parts and Maintenance cost is too high

    Sharat Chandra Vejandla
I own w8(o) diesel model Vehicle is good for long drive and safety. Milage also good in city @16 kmpl and on highway@20 kmpl. But some useless features are there like Dual zone A.C and heated ORVM Insead of those Mahindra should have provided rear A.C vents. While riding on rough roads noticed irritating sounds from all doors and windows. Glove box door problem is there, it is closing properly, on rough road it opens automatically. Overall the spare parts and maintenance cost is very high. Mahindra says 2 years warranty with unlimited kilometres, but it's all sales jimmikks only. I have spent Rs.5,000/- for replacing intercooler pipe(Rs.3500/-) and reverse parking switch, even though vehicle is under warranty. PLEASE THINK MANY TIMES IF YOU WANT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MAHINDRA XUV300 W8 PETROL

    Ciba
I Purchase XUV300 in 1st Nov’2020. 18th of Nov I am driving from Pune to Nagpur with my wife along with 2 year kid. At mid of Jangal my both alloy wheel Driver side was broken picture was attached. Then I call Road side assistance (RSA). After 3 hour of struggling with them they send pickup vehicle after that we request pickup driver that please drop us to Amaravti because we know so many relative there but they are not listing our request and drop us Akola at outside of city along with family 9:30 PM then we call RSA for help but they simply told us they are unable to arrange and suggest us do by yourself ( at outside of city with family with on one around us ). Then we do some expanses ( 500 Local transport + 3500 Hotel + 1000 food + 500 Local transport ) On next day while reaching show room we got surprise that they have no Alloy wheel at their stock. After so many request they arrange only one alloy wheel. During installation they bring me at local tires shop for tires changing charge and those shop keeper charge me 500 After instillation of alloy wheel they demand money then I told them vehicle was new, under warranty and most important insured then they told me for insurance you have leave your vehicle for 1-2 days.. also they are update me that I am not able to clam this amount after leaving from showroom ( amount 11000). I am very much surprises they are not update my before doing this I don’t know what I say but now and after I am very much worry while driving XUV300 along with family specially going outstations

    Jai Prakash
I took W8 Deisal model , form the day one i am getting small small problems in cars , i took it lightly as ths was the small issues & can make up , but the service team at soumy vehcile Indore is like , they only beleive in sales after sales service is worst . they not even bothered about the small issues . my vehicle parts are start getting rusted in just 30 days I informed the spent my time to sending pics and vidoes of same but the response was so unjustified , please guys please do not go ahhead with mahindra now as they have dropped there standard by using low cost part in vehicle . I tried reaching sales and service team but they are like we can not do any thing with ths as the part is non fucntional and it will get rust . it is so surpricing that sales teams are thorowing such statements . at last i suggest you not to go with mahindra vehicle , and if in case your are taking the same please take every thing in writing they will any time change there statments .

xuv 300 AMT W6: Major gear shift issues at lower speed

    altaf
I own an XUV 300 AMT W6. The car has a major automatic gear shifting issue at lower speeds. The car stalls between A1 & A2 or A2 & A1. I have driven automatic cars for 20 years, this does not fit the bill. Mahindra needs to seriously take a look into it

Overpriced Car which maes no sense for a sub 4 mm

    Ganesh
Horribly greedy pricing by mahindra. Given the sub 4 meter tax benefits, they should have had the wiggle room to price this much lower. That they have priced the 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol only 50k-60k lower than the 1.5 litre 4 cylinder diesel already shows how greedy they have gotten. I would recommend waiting 6 months - there would be 1 lakh rs or even more kind of discounts on this by then. That way you also don't end up becoming one of the early birds who have to bear the brunt of niggles known to affect all new launches by mahindra. Mahdndra has killed the product with the pricing.

    Z Dsouza
Very powerful in its class. Even at 160 kmph it doesn't vibrate and is steady..Only negative point is the boot space. This is mainly due to the long wheelbase. Very comfortable and enough leg space inside. Even after driving 500 Kms one doesn't get tired.

    Turn out to be disaster

    Sameer
We leased this vehicle for self drive which end up being catastrophe. We were simply begun our outing towards our destination which was 185 KM away. In transit one bike rider all of a sudden came in front our vehicle, to save that person my my friend who was driving car took sharp right turn and squeezed brakes. In result our vehicle drifted 100 meters from the spot luckily nobody harmed in that incident. Be that as it may, when came outside observe what befell the vehicle, our vehicle's front left tire was totally turned and co drivers door was damaged as biker's bike hit on it. At the point when we took close look then we came to realize that front left tire was not moving as its internal turning assembly was broke down. At the without our fault we had to pay very big amount to fix the same. This finally ended up in paying huge amount to the self drive company, spoiling the whole trip and wasting time. This is extremely frightening imagine a scenario in which this would occur on the highway. It's extremely hazardous. This sort of episode happens regularly on streets but due to low quality materials which broke quickly like what happened with us is very dangerous to one's safety.

    Surely overpriced

    Najm
Mahindra is no match to ford if brand value is concerned. On comparing model wise price i found opting for ford eco is surely a wise decision ...or else go for creta. This car from mahindra should end upto 12lac on road price with its best model to make it a real worth buy.

    To much problem

    Kangkan Saikia
I Sri Kangkan Saikia, bought a XUV 300 W8(O) from Mahindra Industrial and Farm Equipment, Guwahati, on March. I gave the car for 1st servicing on 26th of April’ 2019, but then onwards the whole body of the car makes sounds as on the time of servicing only there was whole vibration of the body. In fact after buying only there was problem with the car. The whole body makes horrible sounds while on running. Again after complaining, they called me for another servicing, then they opened the car to some extend, after informing to the Plant, they said. The whole thing went wrong, the problem rises horribly, the sound increases and increases. I am fedup with the car its problem. A new car is giving so much problem, it’s not worth and it is very frustrating. Every time I take the car to the dealer ! a new problem arises and a temporary solution is advise to me. It is almost 3 (three) months, I take the car every week, again a temporary touch up is done on the car. Recently this Monday something greasing is done, but did not work. It is all disgusting that I am dealing with. I want a permanent solution.

Although there are many competitors but this car has made its presence felt. The car is very spacious though the boot is little small. Ride and handling is awesome
