Honda Jazz good petrol car
I have bought last year and draw almost 6000 km . It's a nice and spacious car for family . I mostly use on city , on average I can see 12 mileage as for city commuting .
Good looking car but lacks in performance and mileage
I am giving 2 star for Honda Jazz despite I was a big fan of Honda cars in USA and drove Honda Civic for nearly 5 years before I came back to Bangalore in June 2017. With whole heartedly I opted to go with Honda Jazz thinking Honda India will maintain same Quality and performance. Trust me friends, 1st gear and 2nd gear are so weak in this car, I am really struggling every day and cursing myself why did I opt to buy for this defective car when I knew that only Maruti and Hyundai can make good cars for India. My 2008 Alto is far better in pulling especially in uphill driving. The place where I live in Bangalore has lot of uphill and steep down roads. I feel fearsome to drive in uphill driving as the 1st gear pulling is very worst that car turns off often and I have to immediately apply hand break and start the car to avoid my car going backside. Its such a shame and helplessness situation I am living with owning this defective car. I such readers here to avoid buying Honda Jazz 1.2 Petrol manual cars since they lost in performance and weak gear system. I am not sure how diesel cars perform. There are few good reviews in YouTube from famous car reviewers. Not sure they are trustworthy since most of them look like paid ones. No one talk about real life challenges like this 90% of them talk about external and internal looks and some technical nonsense things. I suggest car buyers to do more research and don't buy one for the sake of brand name. You may lose your hard earned money like me and live with it..
Hond Jazz :Useless sheet metal work, rusting at all places
I bought the car when it was launched , have done 48000 kms, the engine performance is good, but the body and sheet metal work is useless, the whole body is rusting, it is a big safety hazard, the same was reported to Honda and they said it is out of warranty, in five years if the body rusts then build quality is useless, The dealers refuse to entertain, even the bonnet which was replaced for rusting has again started rusting, Hv heard this problem with other also also , the sheet metal qaulity is useless
All over excellent except some draw backs.
Alloy/steel wheels and tyres. The car is meaninglessly fitted with 4 nos of Alloy wheels while spare wheel is steel. Not only that the width of spare is less than the other four tyres.
No spare parts available is market like other makes creating problems in replacement whenever required. I have to take the vehicle only to its Dealer’s workshop.
It’s service center is not equipped with lift system. The vehicles are washed standing in floor as I have seen in Libra Honda showroom, Dhanbad. The quality of cleaning the cars is not satisfactory. Whereas even roadside service centre’s have lift system and cleaning quality is better than the Honda.

I was proud owner of Wagon R and after 5 yearrs its time to upgrade ..... and i found JAZZ .... like its name . I bought Jazz in 2015 , and anow nearlu 50,000 Km driven in Hills , City and highway i found this car is best in terms of milage, handeling, SPACE and many more . Even Honda support and services is very far better then Maruti . They dont cheat ( like Maruti) , Their parts are very cheap and if you take extended warranty ( i recommened) then they takecare of everything. Below are the average :-
