How is the design?

Tata Nexon has undergone a great cosmetic update from Tata Motors. The aerodynamic shape of the SUV makes it look bolder and aggressive. It has successfully combined the style elements from a sports coupe with the utilities and practicality of an SUV. The front grille with a chrome finish and contrasting colour options, along with the Nexon logo in the middle of the grille, makes it look astonishingly royal in appearance. The bold new DRLs make it appealing on the road. More of the modified features included are the piano-black ORVMs, the signature LED tail lamps, revamped bumper, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. For the next level of customer delight, the brand has installed smart wipers which can sense rain and wipe on its own, auto headlamps light up the road according to the requirements, and the electric sunroof is a real treat. How does it drive?

The riding and handling of Nexon offer a great experience. You get multiple drive modes - Eco, City, as well as Sport, giving you a perfect drive on any road. Next is Tribes, a platform where your performance lists you among other drivers making every drive an exciting one. You get a natural voice tech feature, where your commands in Indian accents are easily understandable by the system and your drives become convenient. How’s the Storage?

Inside the cabin, you get a grand central console that acts as smart storage bringing luxury and utility attached. For customer delight, the brand has added a cooled glove box for keeping things fresh and chilled. Due to the aerodynamic design, the passengers in the back seat may not get enough leg space and headroom. The boot space available is 350 litres. The dimension of the SUV is 3993 mm in length, 1811 mm in width, and 1606 mm in height. The car can support 4 members comfortably but being a 5 seater one sitting in the middle of the rear seat needs to adjust.

The manual and automatic Revotorq (Diesel) variants have a claimed mileage in the city at 16.8 Kmpl and the highway is 23.97 Kmpl. The manual and automatic Revotron (Petrol) variant range from 14.03 Kmpl city mileage to 17.89 Kmpl highway mileage. The ARAI mileage of Tata Nexon lies between 17 - 21.5 Kmpl.

How is the performance?

The turbocharged engine with petrol and diesel variants in Nexon is offering a Powerful and sporty performance. The BS6 compliant Petrol- 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron, 3-Cylinder engine paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission gearbox produces a maximum power of 120 PS at 5500 RPM, and a max torque of 170 Nm at 750-4000 RPM. The BS6 compliant Diesel- 1.5L Turbocharged Revotorq, 4-Cylinder Engine paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission gearbox produces a maximum power of 110 PW at 4000 RPM and a peak torque of 260 Nm at 1500-2750 RPM. The Engine displacement for Revotron is 1199 cc and for Revotorq is 1497 cc. The electronic stability program manages the electronic traction system, roll-over mitigation, emergency brake assist, hill hold control, electronic brake pre-fill, and brake disc wiping. You get a 6-speed hyperdrive, self shift gears to navigate efficiently through traffic without your legs working.
