Maruti Suzuki India has launched the 2018 Ciaz Facelift with updated cosmetic changes to the exterior as well on the inside. That’s not all, the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift also gets the brand new 1.5-litre petrol engine with Suzuki's smart hybrid technology. This is, in fact, the first time that the company has introduced a mild hybrid system for its petrol engine. Prices for the Ciaz facelift starts at Rs. 8.99 lakh for the base Sigma petrol variant, and go up to Rs. 11.98 lakh for the range topping Alpha automatic variant.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Exterior Design

Visually, the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz looks more elegant than its predecessor and the new front surely gives it a new personality altogether. The old horizontal chrome slat is replaced by a new grille with 'multi-pixel' design and chrome borders. The redesigned headlamp cluster gets LED projector lamps, new DRLs and new bumper with LED fog lamps housed in chrome surrounds. At the rear, the new Maruti Ciaz gets LED combination lamps with a tweaked bumper, while the chrome garnish on the bottom adds to the premium look of the sedan. Maruti has not changed the silhouette of the 2018 Ciaz, but it does get the new 16-inch alloys with pebble grey finish. However, the new alloys will only come in the Zeta and Alpha variants along with LED projector lamps and the DRLs.

On the inside, the new Maruti Ciaz gets a new 4.2-inch TFT instrumentation console with eco illumination and new faux wood inserts and satin chrome inserts. The new Ciaz facelift also gets the 7.0-inch smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Engine And Transmission

The new 2018 Ciaz facelift gets the brand new BS6 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine with mild hybrid technology, which replaces the 1.4-litre unit on the outgoing model. The new engine will be manufactured in India and churns out 103 bhp along with 138 Nm of peak torque. The petrol variant of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift mileage is rated at 21.56 kmpl for the manual gearbox variant, while the automatic variant does 20.28 kmpl, making it the best-in-class when it comes to fuel efficiency.

i want to be crisp as much as possible so am using single word to describe Pros: 1.best in class mileage 2. fantastic look 3. pocket friendly 4.luxury 5. best interior 6.good road grip Cons : 1.performance 2. not fun to drive 3.cruise control 4.sunroof 5.poor bumper quality here are the few facts and features that u might not aware that your CIAZ has .! check this out also.!!1

I had decided to get rid of my old Hyundai accent and buy a new car, I had set my mind on the Hyundai i20 active, however i saw this car by accident in a storage lot adjacent to the showroom. I immediately fell in love with the looks. It was slightly out of my budget, but i can assure you it has been worth it. Its been 2 years now and the car runs great. The mileage really depends on you, if you treat it nice it will give you the best performance. Maintenance is low, except on the major service where you can easily expect a bill of approx 12k - 15k. Best car within the 10 lacs budget!! P.S. i have personally clocked over 195 kmph, (Dont try this at home, only at the Yamuna Expressway)

Customers are the king's!!! Really???

Recently we bought a Ciaz and in 20 days we faced a situation that lead us to have a bad experience with the dealers Nexa. My brother was driving the car and there was some traffic. He was trying to overtake a bus and noticed a tractor in front of him. Since the tractor started to move he had to take a sudden right when he heard a loud noise after which he couldn't control the wheels which resulted him touching the tire of the tractor. The service people came and performed their investigation from their so called investigation team from Maruthi they gave us "good will warranty" really meaning "manufacturing defect" for the affected parts the tierod and the alloy wheel. After a day when they were fixing they found damage in few more parts and forced us to claim insurance when it is actually a manufacturing defect. We are really helpless here. Has anyone faced a similar situation with Ciaz or Nexa service?we really don't know whom to go for help in this case. If you have any suggestions please advise.
