Hero Maestro Edge Expert Review

How is the design of Hero Maestro Edge?

The Hero Maestro Edge looks the part with a stylish design template. The fender in front is clearly inspired by a cobra-esque design while the indicators resemble eyes and the twin grille is more like a nose. The bolder design cuts add to the look of the scooter with the headlamp being clear and AHO being another key feature. The visor looks quite attractive while the mirrors come with a grey hue. The exhaust and front forks have slight design tweaks while the daytime running lamp is another nice touch. The big tail lamps make the scooter feel larger than it actually is and the fuel lid is just at the rear and above the tail lamp. It is also covered just like you would find these lids in cars.

How does the Hero Maestro Edge ride?

The Hero Maestro Edge rides well, balancing steadily even at lower speeds while promising improved handling at the same time. The Maestro Edge is excellent for everyday commutes and is not tail-heavy at all. It soaks up all bumps and potholes neatly while offering considerable legroom at the same time. It also comes with good seat height which makes movement easier for those who are taller. The scooter lacks disc brakes though although the front teelscopic forks are somewhat softer but function nicely. The tyres offer decent grip until and unless you are riding on wetter surfaces.

How comfortable is Hero Maestro Edge?

The Hero Maestro Edge comes with a seat that is quite far from the fender and this is actually a goodthing since it frees up considerable kneeroom which is not available in most scooters in the current scenario. The seat is broad, long and thick, ensuring great seating comfort for riders. There is a highly functional and large grab rail and it can be smoothly grabbed by the pillion rider for more support.

How’s the tech?

The scooter comes with a side-stand indicator and USB port which has a stowage light, combination lock and external fuel filler cap. There is also a semi-digital and partly analogue instrument cluster in tandem with the always-on halogen headlamp and integrated braking system for superior handling too. There is a service reminder function available as well. The scooter also comes with fuel injection technology in tandem with cutting-edge XSens features alongside.

1. Bought from Paytm but after multiple transection failure i could buy it. That was the 1st sign frm nature nt to buy this thing. After purchase i selected the base version buy the final bill was for higher version. Patm does not recognise this error. Pathetic 2. Riding experience is ok 2 of 5. Maestro viberates a little. And its heavy for females. ( My wife says so.) 3. Performance is another nightmare... This thing does not start only. In the morning you need patience nad 30 mins min to try to start this scooter. There was a time i was so pissed off i was abt to burn it. Honestly i fell trap for looks coz thats d only decent part in it. 4. Servicing i will visit and let you know. I m sure that is a horror story too. 5. All cons mentioned above. Pro is just a muscular look.
