    Sub Compact SUV King

    Devcharan
The hyundai venue excells in all the aspects a perfect family car would be, it drives well performs great and the value for money propositions, it is equally well bulit too pls don consider the biased insta memers verdict, the only draw back is its back seat space which is adequate and not a benchmark.

    Great Baby SuV from Hyundai

    DHINESHKUMAR
I was planning to buy XUV 300 only for its sheer build quality and its looks but dropped my plan due to the many bad impressions by the people who owns the xuv 300, so hence ended up buying the venue so far i have driven around 8500kms from my 9 months old car, the car drives well and feel well build and drives great with zero fatigue to the occupants over long journeys, actually its a premium car with all the required bells and whistles. Thats y it is the car of the year 2020. The only drawback of this car in my opinion is its price.

    Superb compact SUV

    Raghu Pillai
I am using SX diesel since 8 to 9 months, my car is giving mileage of 24 kmpl on highway. Long ride is comfortable. For city ride AT version is preferable. I think SX should also have 4 airbags. Happy with the style and comfort truly a small family car.

    BEWARE OF THE DCT OVERHEATING

    Kunal Choksi
1.Have purchased the hyundai venue 1.0 turbo petrol automatic in july 2019 2.In bumper to bumper traffic, the dct transmission overheats rapidly in 20-30 mins;you will need to stop the car for a period of time 3.The only solution presented by hyundai and modi hyundai is to switch between Neutral and Drive Mode when you stop the car either on signals or anywhere. Thus defeating the purpose of purchasing an automatic car 4. Press the brakes completely and not midway 5. During the pre sales and sales cycle; the sales folks did not inform that the car would overheat !! 6. If you have traffic in your area; do not buy the DCT version!!! the above issues are also mentioned in the car manual (which you get post buying the car) 7. There is a lag below 2000 RPMand you go to live with it. 8. On a clean road on the highway, this car functions v well; there is no over heating

    Venue SX diesel

    Mebin Mathew
I have venue SX diesel ,saying frankly about this car it's a really good choice for the family ????. Looking on the performance it's very pleasing ,seating comfort and riding comfort is very good, rear seat had a great thigh support which makes more comfortable for the rear seat people, may be the shoulder space is bit struggling for those 6 feet three people sitting backside. Also rear vent AC makes congested and difficult for people to move towards left or right .In my opinion rear vent AC should provide in doors making maximum utilization of rear space that I feel disappointed.Talking about mileage, in city I almost get 16-18 and for long trips with less traffic I am getting super mileage figures ie almost 19-22.5 even some instace I got 23kmpl .The most important thing to say about the diesel engine is it's refinement and smoothness like a typical petrol car .There is a initial turbo lag on low rpm' s which is most common on diesel engines .Feature wise it offers cruise control, sunroof, automatic headlamp and AC,cooled glove box, good bass Rich crisp sound quality speakers, great simple but attractive interiors, apple car play and Android auto connectivity, voice recognition steering mounted buttons, premium look and very good insulated cabin which doesn't allow any sound to hear inside the vehicle ie NVH levels are maintained very well inside the cabin. I also went for Kia seltos, creta, ecosport etc but what makes me to buy this one is that even I had to spend almost 17 lacs for the top models for seltos where we get almost every features ,if I brought any of above cars at the venue price range I only get base functions and features which even after spending 11 lakhs or 12 lakhs is really disappointing may be we get more space, more powerful engine and that SUV feeling also.Mileage was most important considering factor for me.Even the above mentioned cars petrol models just offering 10-15 kmpl and diesel almost 16 -18 kmpl ARAI claimed mileage which we get lower than that. I will give 4.2 out of 5 in the compact SUV segment .Also the rivals like ecosport, brezza, nexon all are doing good in their respective features and price range.

Agressive on the outside but not impressive on the inside in space

    Karthik J
I took a test drive today. Power of the car is pleasing and definitely a quality material but... Concern raises when it comes to comfortable seating position. Especially in rear for 3 passengers. India is a family bound nation and space is a real matter of fact next to mileage. That's where Venue scores low! I'm moving onto i20 which is best in class in every aspect.

how come going for i20 improve space? if you go for venue S model then it will be in the similar price band of i20. If you really too much conscious about space then ....i dont know what to say..

It's a value for money car, Recommended ????

    Bimal Chandra Nair
I think Venue is the best option available in sub SUV segment. I am getting a mileage of 18 kmpl in city. Ride comfort is good. It is better to opt for Venue rather than buying lower end Creta. Venue has the same engine of creta. I am enjoying this car and Recommend it for others also.

Hyundai Venue not up to the mark

    Bala
Venue is overpriced for its size and features. 1.2 petrol is laggy and I doubt it can climb hill or ramp from underground parking. 1.0 turbo is pricy. Suspension is still which means it's risk of body roll. Price should be about 1 lakh less. Try xuv 300 it's sturdy and bold. I don't own xuv300 by the way.
